Easter Weekend - Events in Tampa FL
It's Easter weekend and time to celebrate! Here are a few of the events that will be happening in the Tampa FL area:
Easter Photo Express - Today and tomorrow, April 6 & 7th, 2012, are the two last days to have pictures taken with the Easter Bunny at Brandon Town Center. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with Carrot Breaks from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Click here to view or join the line. 459 Brandon Town Center Drive, Brandon, 813-661-6255.
The HOP - Adopt-a-Thon Eggstravaganza! - Easter activities and adoptable pets just in time for Easter will be available at this event! Activities include contests, prizes, a scavenger hunt, food, photos with the Easter Bunny and Raymond from the Tampa Bay Rays. This event is Saturday, April 7th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hillsborough County Animal Services in Tampa, FL. You will need a valid photo ID, proof of address, and a local check or cash to adopt a pet. 440 Falkenburg Road, North, Tampa, 813-744-5660.
Easter Brunch Cruises - The Yacht StarShip will be offering Easter morning views of Tampa Bay along with photo ops with Peter Cottontail and a brunch buffet. 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning. $44.95 plus tax and gratuity. 603 Channelside Drive, Tampa, 813-223-7999.
Easter is Near by Relevant Church - Bring your blankets and chairs to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for an Easter service, activities, and more! This festival includes games, face-painting, a petting zoo, concerts, and a food truck rally. Begins Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. Cost is free. 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa, 813-424-4800.
